Coverage of our recent poll for Business for Scotland
9 September 2020
Our recently conducted poll for Business for Scotland shows that 55 per cent of the Scottish Public are in favour of breaking with the UK, with 45 per cent against (excluding ‘undecided’) – in what is being considered a huge landmark reversal of the 2014 results.
This landmark poll reverses the 2014 indyref result and is undeniably news in itself, but it also confirms a trend that can be seen when analysing all polls conducted in 2020. https://t.co/Cg61VACOiT pic.twitter.com/XfBkUOA6KV

The 2014 study was a different story with 55-45% in favour of staying in the UK.
Our results show support for independence growing by three per cent since June, and marks the highest lead ever recorded.
The poll consisted of 1011 responses between the 10th and 16th of August.
The data tables of the poll can be found here.
